How to Donate

Practically no arts or cultural institution in America survives purely on sales. Every museum, every theatre, every orchestra and choir, and practically every literary journal requires extra financial assistance from those who believe the arts add to our lives in ways the price tag on the cover does not reflect. River Oak Review is certainly no different in this. In fact, the State of Illinois, having provided us generous assistance for years, has experienced the necessesity for severe budget cuts, including the Illinois Arts Council.

This being the unfortunate reality, we need you to help us stay in publication by whatever donation you can afford.

The easiest way to contribute is through the donation portal of our host institution, Elmhurst College, by following these steps:

Click on the link labeled DONATE below.

On the next page, click on the link labeled "Make a Gift Online."

On the secure page that opens, type in your personal information. Under "Gift Information," enter the dollar amount in the box marked "Other" and in the "Specify" box type "River Oak Review."

Below that, you'll see the place to enter your credit card information.

After donation, you will quickly receive an email acknowledging receipt of your gift, and your donation will be directed to the River Oak Review budget line.
